Seeing the Taj Mahal in person is surreal. As you approach the main gate, it slowly reveals itself in a symmetry that could only have been achieved in the ethics of the 1600s. The building is immense. The closer you get, the more detail is revealed, and the more you realize that the hand-sculpted exterior was truly made for a love that stood the test of time.

While travelling in Bali, I came across a local rice field worker below me. As soon as he saw my camera, he looked up at me, gave me a big smile and a thumbs up. I love this photo because of his expression, the texture on his face, and the contrast of the field behind him.

Our world can surprise us in the smallest ways. I noticed this Dragonfly sitting at the edge of a leaf, motionless. At first, I thought it was a twig, until I saw its eyes. Being at the top of the food chain, it's easy to forget that even we can be fooled by the smallest.
